My July Library Class

I held my monthly library card class today. We typically make two simple and easy cards. I learned my lesson after holding my first library class several months ago and saw right quick that my planned projects were basically for an advanced scrapbooker. My first class was a little frustrating for an elderly couple that attend. For one thing they are still using a glue stick and a pair of scissors! They were amazed by my ATG gun and paper trimmer. So, I had to rewind and start from the basics. I totally loved it.

My first card we made I used a White Daisy #1385 A2 top fold card base, a layer of Desert Sand #1273, and another layer of the White Daisy card stock. I used the #C1594 Treasured Friendship Seasons & Nature stamp set using both #Z2118 Desert Sand and #Z2641 Glacier inks. To finish the card I used three Clear Sparkles #Z1752. Such an easy and quick to make, but such a sweet card too.

For my second project, my inspiration was a simple card we made at my Close To My Heart Team Meeting over the weekend. My third upline used new products that were available to them that attended our Convention this month. I do not have any of these yet, so I had to look around and find product I owned that would be similar. I used our Colonial White #1388 card stock for an A2 side fold card base. I also used our Jackson #X7195B paper collection along with the #D1647 Documenting Moments Everyday Life stamp set with again our Desert Sand and Glacier inks.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards and get inspired to get crafty. If you would like to order anything I have used in making these two cards, please go to my Close To My Heart website.
